Palmetto × Level 6 · Program walkthrough · Oct 29, 2026
A rewards program that gets reps leading with the lease.
Here's what we heard on our intro call, and how the program answers it.
The goal
Palmetto wants dealer sales reps to put the Palmetto lease ("Netflix for HVAC": equipment, maintenance and repairs in one monthly payment) in front of more homeowners.
The challenge
The lease is a better deal for homeowners and dealers, but today's incentives don't move reps.
Reps sell what they know. They default to lowest monthly payment and 0% financing, and the dealer pays those fees out of margin.
Owners are sold; reps aren't. The new pitch takes effort to learn, so reps need a reason to change it.
Payouts are too slow. Today SPIFFs go by ACH to the dealer, then through payroll. Reps get them after their commission, and the moment is gone.
E-cards get lost. They carry no brand recall, and nobody knows how many get used.
What you asked for
- One Palmetto-branded reloadable Visa or Mastercard per repCustom card art and Palmetto-branded mailer. The card is reloaded on every qualifying deal
- No SSN or DOB just to get startedName and mailing address issue the card. W-9 only as a rep nears $2K a year, and we handle the 1099s
- Pay only when the deal is fundedA business rule tied to your Salesforce "funded" status. Reps submit nothing, so no clawbacks are needed
- Paid immediately, with a "congrats" momentInstant reload plus a text or email once the card is in hand. A prefunded account means any cadence works
- Rules that change by quarter and partnerA campaign builder: amounts, eligible dealers, bonus tiers and dates
- Your team can fund a card directlyAdmin access to approve payouts or post a spot bonus
- Reporting by campaignDashboards and exports by campaign, dealer and rep. "Paid" is written back to Salesforce
- Reps change dealers oftenThe card, balance and history move with the rep
- Passes your security reviewHosted on your subdomain (e.g. rewards.palmetto.com); our tech team works with yours
Ideas we added
Training gate. Short videos and quizzes on the lease pitch unlock the program, and finishing them loads $25–$50 as the rep's first card activity.
Launch while the card is approved. Visa/Mastercard approval of the custom card art is the longest lead time, so enrollment, training and launch buzz can start while it's in process.
